Our Annual family camping trip to Barren River Lake 2007

This is the first year our daughter has missed for a while but my son was able to get off of work to go.

This year it was a very dry and hot August and September. It is amazing the only weekend that has a high in the mid to 70’s was when we went camping. It was great for Sleeping but not good for getting in the lake. We did have a great time. There was a no burn order so we couldn’t have a camp fire Friday night but it rained early Saturday morning and we had a nice cozy fire that night. We needed it too. It was down in the lower 50’s that night.
